The Wee House Company

The Wee House Company is a Scottish modular home specialist headquartered in Cumnock, East Ayrshire, operating from a 120,000 sq ft manufacturing facility on the Caponacre Industrial Estate — a repurposed former carpet factory that now employs over 60 predominantly local workers. Founded around 2013 by managing director Jennifer Higgins, the company constructs homes entirely within its climate-controlled factory, with kitchens, bathrooms, plumbing, and electrics all pre-fitted before units are transported to site, where only the final ten percent of finishing work takes place. The Wee House Group encompasses three divisions: The Wee House Company for bespoke solutions on smaller sites, Connect Modular for large-scale affordable housing developments — including Scotland's largest modular social housing schemes — and Hope South West for groundworks. The group serves clients across Scotland and the wider UK, combining modern modular efficiency with high design standards.
