Minim Homes

Minim Homes is a Washington, D.C.-based micro-housing design and build firm founded in 2013 through a collaboration between Brian Levy, Foundry Architects, and Element Design+Build. The company is best known for the award-winning Minim House, a 210-square-foot residential structure that maximizes livable space through thoughtful, efficient design, as well as the Minim Workspace, a compact home office solution. The firm has earned three AIA design awards and has been featured in major media outlets including NPR and the Washington Post. Beyond construction, Minim Homes operates MicroShowcase, a nonprofit dedicated to providing resources for micro-building and sustainable living. Their mission centers on transforming underutilized spaces into purposeful, joyful environments, positioning them as a recognized leader in innovative small-space and sustainable residential architecture.
