Cargotecture

Cargotecture is a Seattle-based pioneer in shipping container architecture, founded in 2003 and recognized as one of the first firms to offer turn-key container homes to the public. The company designs and builds custom residences ranging from approximately 160 to 720 square feet, delivering fully completed units with appliances, fixtures, and furniture included. Cargotecture's distinctive off-grid model, the Nomad, can operate entirely independent of utilities through integrated solar panels, rooftop water collection, propane, and composting systems. Construction typically takes just three to four weeks, with the finished home transported by truck and installable on virtually any site. The firm serves clients across the Pacific Northwest and nationwide, including Texas, California, Vermont, New York, Nevada, Utah, and Florida.
