CargoHome is a family-owned, custom shipping container home builder headquartered on an 18-acre campus just north of Waco, Texas, in McLennan County. Founded in 2017, the company hand-builds each home in its 30,000-square-foot production facility, combining the inherent strength of steel shipping containers with modern, custom interior finishes and flexible modular layouts. CargoHome has earned recognition for its craftsmanship through high-profile collaborations with Chip and Joanna Gaines of the popular television series Fixer Upper, including work at the Magnolia Silos. Every CargoHome design can be tailored to client specifications, offering open-concept living spaces, natural light optimization, and efficient floor plans suited for primary residences, vacation retreats, and investment properties.
