Box Prefab is a Houston, Texas-based design-build company co-founded by Rame and Russell Hruska, dedicated to producing smart, sustainable modular homes through a simplified, end-to-end process. The company handles everything from design and manufacturing to installation, constructing precision-built modules off-site and assembling them — often in a single day — on the customer's lot. Their offerings include new home construction, ADUs, modular home additions, tiny homes, multigenerational housing, and hospitality suites, all built to hurricane-strength standards. Box Prefab's homes are completed in roughly half the time of traditional site-built construction. Notably, the company partnered with Avenue CDC, an affordable housing nonprofit, to deliver cost-efficient prefab homes for low- and middle-income families in Houston, demonstrating a dual commitment to design excellence and community impact.
