Blokki is a Czech modular-home manufacturer based in Havlíčkův Brod that builds compact, energy-efficient dwellings on a foundation of upcycled decommissioned maritime shipping containers, giving each steel structure new meaning and a higher utility value. Each 25 m² module can be combined flexibly to create eight configurations ranging from a 25 m² studio to a 100 m² four-room home. Homes feature sprayed PUR foam insulation, triple-glazed windows, wooden cladding, and vinyl flooring, achieving an Energy Class B rating with optional heat pump and solar panel provisions. The company targets rapid construction timelines of two to four months and delivers fully demountable, relocatable structures inspired by minimalist Scandinavian aesthetics. Originally founded around 2018, Blokki now operates as Domkki Blokki s.r.o. from Tochovice in Central Bohemia.
